Message: What the heck is going on with your damned website?
I enabled cookies and added your site to accept all cookies, after I read that message about cookies and “temporary server proeblems”, and it’s STILL not playing anything on the J geils band page. WTF! I looked up numerous other bands too, and your site will play all else except the J geils band page. What gives?
Please fix this. It”s really annoying.

sometimes, I try to really understand the person sending me a support message. like, what’s going on in their life? where did this insatiable need to hear the J. Geils Band, on February 7, 2010, come from? I build a sketch:

guy, mid-40s, somewhere west of Pennsylvania. decent-looking, works at a desk, chuckles at YouTube virals his sister sends him. had a couple of beers last night and started thinking about how he ended up here, in the family den with the wall-to-wall carpeting. he played ball back in high school, used to drive around w/the guys, “Centerfold” blasting on the radio, laughing, their lives still up ahead. and he doesn’t have those tapes anymore, but he’s got to hear some J. Geils right now, take him back to those good old days. he’s alright w/computers, knows what a cookie is, gotta stay on top of this stuff in his line of work. but this site just isn’t working right, and his 12-year old knows how to use the internet better than he does now, and that’s not the way it was ever supposed to happen. so he loads up that contact form and he fires off one P.O.’d message into the ether, to heck with it all.
